This is the marketing website for a Forex VPS hosting service: virtual servers that keep trading terminals running around the clock, close to the brokers they trade with. The page leads a trader from the promise in the hero through four plans, a line-by-line comparison, a calculator that sizes the server to the number of terminals, the data-centre map, testimonials and an FAQ, to one clear call to action.
It is built with Astro, so the content arrives as plain HTML, with ten small Three.js scenes layered on top: a glass server cube, a globe, a shield, a chip, a world map and more. Each is a separate module that loads only as its section approaches, and the level of detail is chosen from the visitor’s graphics hardware. Scrolling is smoothed and the sections reveal themselves in time with it.
We developed the site end to end, including every 3D scene, the scroll-driven motion and the responsive layouts down to the phone.
What makes it work
Four plans on cards, each with its monthly price, and one marked as the most popular
A comparison table that sets every plan's memory, processor, storage and features side by side
A plan calculator: slide the number of trading terminals and it shows the memory you need
Data centres on a 3D world map, grouped into USA, Europe and Asia
Ten real-time 3D scenes, from a glass server cube to a plasma globe, each loaded only as its section comes into view
A hero lit by animated light rays drawn in shaders
Feature cards that glide sideways as you scroll past them
Traders' testimonials in a carousel and an FAQ that opens in place
On phones the pricing cards become a row you swipe and the menu folds away
The level of 3D detail is set from each visitor's graphics hardware
Smooth scrolling, with every section revealed in time with the scroll
The challenge
A hosting page has to answer a trader's questions in order: what does it cost, which plan do I need, and how close is the server to my broker. It also has to look like the performance it is selling.
5 problems we had to solve, from performance, visual quality, UX design and more.
- 01 / 05Performance
Ten 3D scenes without the wait
Real-time 3D is heavy, and a hosting page that opens slowly argues against itself. Each scene is its own small module, fetched only as its section approaches, so the first screen does not pay for the last one.
- 02 / 05Visual quality
One look on every graphics card
The page reads the visitor's graphics hardware when it opens and sets the level of detail to match: the full effect where there is power to spare, a lighter version where there is not.
- 03 / 05UX design
Which plan do I need?
Prices come first, then a table that compares every plan line by line. For anyone still unsure there is a slider: choose how many trading terminals you run and the page tells you how much memory that takes.
- 04 / 05Content
Written to be found
The page is built around the questions traders actually search for, with one clear heading for each and an FAQ in plain language, all delivered as ordinary HTML that search engines can read without running any script.
- 05 / 05Interaction
Motion that explains
The glass cube is a server, the map shows where the data centres are and the shield stands for protection. The 3D is there to make an invisible product visible, and it moves with the scroll rather than on its own.
5 of 5 solved
A page with ten 3D scenes that still starts with two scripts, and a visitor who knows which plan to buy.
