Lucky Target is a comprehensive full-stack casino gaming platform that seamlessly operates across Windows desktop, Android mobile, and web browsers. Developed in Unity 6, the game features an interactive lucky spinner mechanic where players spin to win prizes, with smooth 2D animations and dynamic visual feedback optimized for diverse screen sizes and device capabilities. The responsive UI framework automatically adapts to portrait, landscape, and various aspect ratios, ensuring consistent visual polish and usability across all platforms. The frontend implements elegant animations, intuitive touch controls for mobile, mouse/keyboard controls for desktop, and real-time visual state synchronization. The backend, architected with Node.js, provides robust real-time communication through Socket.IO integration for live updates, instant prize confirmations, and synchronized multiplayer gameplay across all platforms. A comprehensive admin panel enables game operators to manage users, configure game settings, monitor player activity across platforms, and track analytics in real-time with detailed reporting capabilities. User management includes secure authentication, session management, role-based access controls, and cross-platform user data synchronization. The REST API architecture handles prize distribution, payment processing, and game state management while maintaining consistency across all client platforms. The spinner animation system delivers satisfying, high-performance visual effects that enhance player engagement while maintaining smooth 60 FPS gameplay across a wide range of device specifications. This project demonstrates expertise in cross-platform game development, responsive design systems, and scalable backend infrastructure serving multiple client implementations simultaneously.

The challenge

Developing Lucky Target as a cross-platform solution required managing significant technical complexity.

6 problems we had to solve, from UX design, interaction, networking and more.

  1. 01 / 06UX design

    Crisp on every screen

Ensuring responsive UI scaling across diverse device resolutions while maintaining visual consistency demanded custom UI scaling algorithms and extensive device testing.

  2. 02 / 06Interaction

Touch and mouse in one game

Implementing platform-specific input handling (touch for Android, mouse/keyboard for Windows) required abstraction layers and input event buffering.

  3. 03 / 06Networking

    Sync on unreliable networks

Socket.IO synchronization across platforms with varying network conditions necessitated robust reconnection logic, message queuing, and conflict resolution.

  4. 04 / 06Performance

    Premium effects, low-end phones

Optimizing 2D animation performance for low-end Android devices while delivering premium visual effects on high-end devices required aggressive profiling, LOD systems, and conditional rendering.

  5. 05 / 06Security

    A locked-down admin panel

The admin panel required designing a role-based access system with proper data isolation and audit logging.

  6. 06 / 06Payments

    Payments on two app stores

Payment processing integration demanded compliance with platform-specific regulations and secure transaction handling across Windows and Android app stores.
